About the role

JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for design and development of new applications or enhancements to current applications.  Perform as technical lead on projects of moderate to high complexity that impact multiple departments, systems, or work flows.  In addition, function as mentor to those on the team who need assistance in growing their skills.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform technical design and lead technical design teams for new applications or enhancements to current applications

• Perform development of new applications or enhancements to current applications

• Lead the design and implementation of scalable, reliable, and maintainable software solutions across both front-end and back-end systems.

• Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth.

• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical specifications and deliver high-quality solutions.

• Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends, evaluating their potential impact on our products and recommending innovative solutions to enhance our platform.

• Provide ongoing support and maintenance of existing applications.

• May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

• Job is NOT directly responsible for managing other employees (e.g., hiring/termination and/or pay decisions, performance management)
