$5,000 sign on bonus offered (based on eligibility)
Evening Shift (3:00pm-11:30pm) with rotating weekends

 

Job Summary

Summary: Responsible for performing sterilization procedures on medical instruments and equipment in accordance established procedures, infection control standards, industry standards, recommended practices on sterilization and regulatory requirements.

Essential Functions
-Processes specialty and general instruments.
-Resets instrument sets without error.
-Decontaminates instruments and equipment according to procedure.
-Maintain Central Sterile Department stock levels.
-Prepares and assembles surgical tray and equipment following established tray listings for issue, storage, or further processing.
-Communicates instrument repair needs to supervisor.

 

Qualifications

Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent required

Can this role accept experience in lieu of a degree? No

Licenses and Credentials: Certified Registered Central Service Technician [CRCST] - Healthcare Sterile Processing Association (HSPA) required within 12 months of hire.

Experience: related experience 1-2 years preferred

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Knowledge of case cart assembly.
- Familiarity with the regulatory standards of materials management.
- Conducting tests and inspections of products, services, or processes to evaluate quality or performance.
