We are looking for a top candidate in the field of (digital) marketing strategy who, together with the Business Banking marketing team, will take the lead on behalf of the Digital & Remote Sales department in terms of top funnel marketing.

The Digital & Remote Sales department is part of Business Banking Sales NL with the challenging mission to make ING the best bank for business customers in the Netherlands.

Our mission is to build and strengthen digital customer service and the remote advice model. Our department is responsible for all digital and remote service of business customers: the commercial performance of our digital and remote channels, customer satisfaction with digital CX, the P&L achieved for customers we serve digitally and remotely and marketing activities for Business Banking NL.

What are you going to do

As a Customer Journey Expert, you and your squad are responsible for realizing your squad's mission. You will work in a team that focuses on 'top funnel' marketing for Business Banking NL. You take on work to significantly grow our business brand. You do this, among other things, through campaigns and content marketing, but you also conduct research into the possibilities in the market. You take the initiative and tackle things independently, but you find good cooperation and jointly achieving the objectives just as important.

In addition to the work in your squad, you develop knowledge and skills together with your Product Sales Team colleagues in the field of marketing for Digital & Remote Sales. This helps you to apply your knowledge in the squad in which you work. You stimulate and inspire other squads to market propositions for the Business Banking brand.

For our future customer journey expert, we are looking for a candidate with at least 5 years of work experience and who excels in the following focus areas:

• Marketing experience in B-to-B and (digital) Marketing Strategy: we are looking for someone who is familiar with (co) developing and rolling out a (digital) Marketing Strategy.
• You have knowledge of branding and positioning and experience in campaign management and paid media strategy. Someone who understands the importance of top funnel marketing and someone who knows how important it is to offer the right message at the right time.
• Fluency in Dutch is a must
• Customer strategy: in a world where our customers are becoming increasingly digital, but not all at the same pace, a world where margins are under pressure and compliance and KYC rules are becoming increasingly strict, it is important that we think about which target groups we focus on (and which not). We are therefore looking for someone who can think strategically. Someone who has strong numerical skills and can translate those figures into concrete marketing and sales efforts.
