D365 Business Central Lead Consultant (50% Travel Required)

It is a very exciting time of growth for our Customer Excellence team, and we are currently hiring a D365 Business Central Lead Consultant to provide functional implementation leadership for our Business Solutions Group. 

This a remote, US based position that requires up to 50% travel.  Most travel will be on the East Coast.

What will my role be?

As a Dynamics 365 Business Central (BC) Lead Implementation Consultant, you will play an integral leadership role in growing our Dynamics 365 BC practice and provide functional expertise for large scale implementations.   

What are my responsibilities?

• Lead the delivery and management of client projects, contributing to solutions as needed to establish strong trust- based relationships with client teams and drive collective client and team success
• Taking complete ownership of the design of client centric solutions, which may include integrations with other systems or significant module enhancements
• Providing consulting, implementation and solution guidance including the reporting components
• Leading and implementing solutions leveraging Microsoft Dynamics 365 BC application software modules
• Developing and configuring Business Central modules, including assessing, and selecting third-party extensions as required
• Leading testing procedures, including the development of internal test scripts, testing software releases and functions.
• Providing pre-go-live and post-go-live support for end users, and assisting with documentation as required
• Leading client training and end user adoption as required.

What’s required?

• 8+ years of Microsoft Dynamics ERP experience crossing many industries including at least 25 full lifecycle implementations of Dynamics BC
• Extensive experience with all functionalities of BC including Warehouse and Distribution.
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience 
• Dynamics NAV/Business Central Certifications required.
• Expert knowledge of waterfall and agile ERP implementation methodologies, including Sure Step
• Demonstrated initiative and business acumen
• Demonstrated knowledge and experience in ERP implementation principles, practices, and methodologies
• Demonstrated ability to plan and manage complex client engagements involving multiple teams
• Competence with analysis tools such as SSRS, cubes and PowerBI
• Experience training end-users on software applications
• A credible, professional presence and ability to develop productive customer and team relationships at all levels of an organization
• Desire to make a difference and be part of a team, but also the ability to work independently.
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Good problem solving, analytical, time management, and organizational skills.
• Ability to travel 50%.
