Support Operator

Overview

Responsible for cleaning and drying totes in a timely and orderly fashion while maintaining and following Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

Responsibilities

• Requires conformance to IVC’s SOP’s, cGMP’s (21 CFR 211), OSHA requirements and safety procedures.
• Using hand truck to move staged unclean totes into tote washroom.
• Clean totes in accordance to SOP-00026
• Make log entries as required.
• Tag all clean totes with proper identification tag after cleaning the tote.
• Work as needed in other departments when clean totes are not needed.
• May cross-train as a packaging operator

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Experience in GMP environment (Preferably in Pharmaceutical Industry)
• Ability to read and comprehend SOP’s, Batch Records and training documents Basic computer knowledge.              
• Ability to understand basic math and have basic computer knowledge.
• Strong work ethic, positive attitude and willingness to learn and develop new skills is a requirement.
• Team player; works well with others.
• Willingness to work overtime as needed.
