This role demands a unique blend of cybersecurity experience, policy management, governance expertise, and operational acumen. </p><p></p><p>The ideal candidate will be well organized, eager to constantly improve and learn, driven and, most of all - a team player!</p><p></p><p><strong>Your responsibilities will include:</strong></p><ul> <li><strong>Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive network security policies and governance frameworks, focusing on Firewall Governance, Secure Web Gateways (SWGs), Cloud Network Security, Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA), and Network Segmentation.</strong></li> <li>Conduct thorough analyses of network traffic and security event data to refine and enhance network security policies. <strong>Improve existing policies, identify and remediate gaps in tooling.</strong> </li> <li>Lead the <strong>operational management of network security tools</strong> and services, focusing on policy optimization.</li> <li>Utilize <strong>infrastructure-as-code (IaC)</strong> practices to automate and manage network security configurations and policies.</li> <li> <strong>Standardize and document</strong> network security processes and procedures, ensuring a consistent and efficient operational environment.</li> <li>Develop and fine-tune <strong>network segmentation</strong> strategies, embracing both traditional and Zero Trust approaches, with an emphasis on effective micro-segmentation.</li> <li>Collaborate with technology architecture and networking teams to review, improve, and implement rules for new applications across multiple firewalls.</li> </ul><p><strong>Requirements</strong></p><p><strong>What's important for us?</strong></p><ul> <li><strong>A minimum of 7 years of experience in Network Security, with a strong focus on security policy development, governance, and operations.</strong></li> <li>Expertise in managing and optimizing firewall policies and configurations. </li> <li>Preferred experience (or similar) with: <strong>Cloudgenix (SD-WAN),</strong> Cloudflare (WAF), Forescout (NAC). </li> <li> <strong>Proficient in public cloud environments (AWS preferred),</strong> with hands-on experience in cloud network security management (e.g., NACLs, NSGs).</li> <li>Skilled in <strong>infrastructure-as-code (IaC)</strong> tools, such as <strong>Terraform Cloud</strong>.</li> <li>Strong scripting abilities (Python, Bash) for automation and integration tasks.</li> <li>Solid understanding of <strong>network protocols, security best practices, and compliance requirements</strong>.</li> <li>Experience with <strong>SIEM technologies (preferably Splunk)</strong> for security monitoring and event analysis.</li> <li>Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.</li> </ul><p></p><p><strong>You will score extra points for:</strong></p><ul> <li>Experience in leading firewall solutions such as <strong>Zscaler ZIA &amp; ZPA, and Palo Alto Firewalls</strong>.</li> <li><strong>Firewall orchestration tools like Tufin/Algosec.</strong></li> </ul><p><strong>Benefits</strong></p><p><strong>What do we offer?</strong></p><ul> <li>Working alongside a talented team of software engineers who are changing the image of Poland abroad</li> <li>Culture of teamwork, professional development and knowledge sharing (<a href="https://www.youtube.com/user/sunscraperscom" rel="nofollow noreferrer noopener">https://www.youtube.com/user/sunscraperscom</a>)</li> <li>Flexible working hours and remote work possibility</li> <li>Comfortable office in central Warsaw, equipped with all the necessary tools for conquering the universe (Macbook Pro/Dell, external screen, ergonomic chairs)</li> </ul><p></p><p>Sounds like a perfect place for you?
