Job Description Summary
Works with functional management, business analysts, operations staff and processing groups to develop strategic roadmaps and drive the execution of process improvement initiatives for the Product & Advice organization. Meets with management teams to understand and evaluate business processes. Drives meetings to track and communicate project status to stakeholders, and discussions on new or potential initiatives.Job Description
Responsibilities
- Evaluate operational results and develop improvement solutions/recommendations for assigned business groups, in partnership with leadership and stakeholders.
- Work collaboratively with business stakeholders to identify and prioritize and help drive execution for assigned business groups.
- Evaluate information regarding process results, issues, to develop process improvement solutions.
- Address business problems that require analysis of processes, including systems, procedures, and interfaces.
- Perform root cause analysis and other analysis techniques to understand and describe business issues to relevant stakeholders.
- Work with management, business groups and technical teams, to generate and evaluate solutions and put forth an execution plan.
- Actively participate and at times facilitate meetings with leadership and stakeholders and ensure clear next steps are documented for attendees.
- At times, dive deeper into initiatives to help organize and drive results.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field or equivalent experience
- Two years of experience in any industry developing technical and business solutions. May substitute some experience for formal process improvement or project management training/experience.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Organizational and prioritization skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Ability to manage multiple initiatives and change direction easily.
- Experience in the retirement industry, specifically in retirement planning or IRA's.
Working Conditions
- Office environment.
- Occasional travel to participate in planning, implementations and site visits.
