In this position... 
Full Stack Software Engineer position within IT Product team responsible for full cycle systems development activities including software design, development, and deployment activities to launch new systems and enhance existing systems. This position is also expected to participate in integration and systems testing. 

 

What you'll do...

  • Participate in all aspects of agile software development, including design, implementation, and deployment.
  • Architect and provide guidance on building end-to-end systems optimized for speed and scale.
  • Function as a lead full stack software engineer in the creation and implementation of IT solutions to meet business and infrastructure needs (based on functional/nonfunctional requirements).
  • Provide solutions to optimize performance, scalability, security protocols, analytics integration.
  • Interact with external and internal technical peers (Product Managers, Product Designers, Software Engineers, Architects, and vendors) to deliver a shared understanding of the solution
  • Contribute to maintaining a readied backlog and enable the team to go further with effective usage of Jira.
  • Participate in triage and debugging sessions for systems/tools integration issues.

You'll have... 

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field and equivalent experience
  • 6+ years of experience full stack software development using Java, Angular
  • 4+ years of experience working with Spring Boot
  • 4+ years of experience with Cloud Native application development, GCP/PCF/OpenShift
  • Experience with industry standard development environment, technologies, tools, and techniques including Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery techniques using Java, Spring Boot, GitHub, CI/CD pipeline, Tekton, Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
  • Experience with full stack application design and architecture.
  • Experience with microservice architecture, REST APIs.
  • API development and management skills (e.g API Led, 12 factor) 
  • Expertise JavaScript and front-end frameworks like React, Angular
  • Deploy and maintain applications to GCP products. 
  • Strong understanding of static code analysis, unit testing and test-driven development (TDD), security testing and automated test frameworks
  • Experience with RDBMS and NoSQL Databases 
  • Knowledge and experience using Agile methodology and managing work with Jira
  • Knowledge and Experience with Code Quality Tools (SonarQube, 42 Crunch & FOSSA) 
  • Experience with LLMs, AI-powered coding assistants, with a strong understanding of tools like GitHub Copilot. Ability to leverage these tools to enhance productivity and code quality. 
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communications skills
  • Experience or knowledge in powertrain and design systems domain, Bill of Material technical architecture and implementation is considered as a major plus. 

 

Even better, you may have...

  • Master of Science degree in Computer Science or a closely related field of study and equivalent experience
  • 4+ years of experience with Cloud Native app development, GCP services (GCP Cloud Run etc), VMWare TAS Platform/PCF or Red Hat OpenShift
  • 2+ years of experience working with CI/CD systems (e.g. Gitlab / Jenkins) and integrating them with various Security and Testing tools and technologies.
  • 2+ years of practical, meaningful experience with front-end frameworks such as Angular, React, Vue.js
  • Java, Spring Boot, Angular, GCP/PCF, Agile Programming disciplines and Test-Driven Development (TDD).
  • Scripting and strong object-oriented programming & database skills
  • Experience or knowledge in powertrain and design systems domain, Bill of Material technical architecture and implementation is considered as a major plus.
