Data Processing Analyst - Avendra International

Job Description

We are seeking a meticulous and analytical Data Processing Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for processing and reconciling data files to ensure accuracy and consistency across our systems, while adhering to audit control guidelines. This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work with large datasets. The candidate must be able to collaborate regularly with other team members and meet routine hourly/daily/monthly deadlines.

Position will be held at Avendra Headquarters in Rockville, MD.

Job Responsibilities

• Data Processing: Collect, clean, and process large datasets from various sources to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
• Data Reconciliation: Compare and reconcile data files to identify discrepancies and ensure consistency across different systems and databases.
• Audit Compliance: Ensure all data processing and reconciliation activities comply with established audit control guidelines and company policies.
• Data Analysis: Perform detailed data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies. Provide insights and recommendations based on the analysis.
• Reporting: Generate and maintain reports and dashboards to track data quality, completeness, and reconciliation status. Present findings to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, finance, and operations, to resolve data discrepancies and improve data processes. Initiate and lead meetings with external stakeholders.
• Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of data processing and reconciliation procedures and findings.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance data accuracy and efficiency once well versed in all aspects of the job.
• Deadline Management: Ensure timely completion of tasks by meeting routine, sometimes hourly/daily deadlines.

Qualifications

• Education: 4-year degree or equivalent industry experienc
• Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in data analysis, data processing, or a related role. 
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in data analysis tools and software such as SQL and Excel.
• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
• Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in data processing and reconciliation tasks.
• Communication Skills: Must be fluent in Spanish and English
• Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex data findings to non-technical stakeholders.
• Team Player: Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with colleagues from various departments.
• Time Management: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet routine, sometimes daily deadlines.
