THE JOB:

As a Heavy-Duty Kitchen Cleaner, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of our property's kitchens. You will be responsible for deep cleaning and ensuring all kitchen areas and equipment meet health and safety standards. Your attention to detail and commitment to excellence will contribute to the overall success of our culinary operations.

THE STARTING RATE: $23.8789 hourly

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

• Maintain cleanliness of ceilings, walls, and equipment such as charbroilers, griddles, salamanders, and deep fryers.

• Scrape, wash, rinse, sanitize, and air-dry pots, pans, and other kitchenware.

• Use three-compartment sinks or pot machines as needed.

• Sweep and mop floors, wash floor mats, and clean drains, hand sinks, tables, and prep stations.

• Separate and remove trash and biohazards to designated containers while adhering to safety standards.

• Clean, polish, and maintain dish machines, ice machines, hot boxes, prep tables, and other kitchen equipment.

• Move equipment such as hot/cold boxes and speed racks; maintain linen inventories and manage soiled linen removal.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• Must be at least 18 years of age or older.

• Previous experience in a kitchen cleaning position including kitchen equipment cleaning.

• Knowledge of health, safety, and sanitation regulations.

• Ability to operate kitchen cleaning tools and large equipment such as floor scrubbers and power washers.
