Internal Maintenance Representative

Description

The Internal Maintenance Representative at Blue Heron will manage and maintain Blue Heron corporate offices, model homes, spec homes and show homes. In addition, the Internal Maintenance Representative will keep organized the Blue Heron warehouse.

The Internal Maintenance Representative must ensure the following:

• Maintain Blue Heron model homes, spec homes, and show homes.
• Schedule needed trade partners to service Blue Heron corporate offices, model homes, spec homes and show homes.
• Monitor trade partner work being done for our corporate offices and model homes and have work orders signed after completion.
• Effectively manage and keep organized Blue Heron warehouse.
• Assist other Blue Heron departments as needed.
• Perform maintenance and light repairs when needed.
• Identify and report the need for major repairs.

Requirements

• Proven basic experience in construction or general home maintenance
• Experience with hardware tools and electrical equipment
• Basic understanding/familiarity of electrical, plumbing or HVAC systems and home construction
• Basic math and computer skills
• Good communication ability
• Ability to work well in a team environment
• Well-organized and apt in problem-solving
• Attention to detail
• Reliable Transportation is a must
• High school diploma or equivalent
