Amazon’s WWOps High Volume Hiring team is seeking a passionate, results-oriented, and inventive Sr. Product Manager-Technical to drive the development of a successful early stage product, while helping to define the future of how Amazon scales and supports its global workforce across all phases of the employee lifecycle. As the Sr. Product Manager Technical, you will own the vision and strategy for your aspect of the product, you’ll help define the product’s roadmap and strategy, and deliver clear requirements that Designers and Engineers will use to bring your vision to life. You’ll help drive the day-to-day product development schedule from design through to release, own the product life-cycle, and define and monitor metrics that measure the success of the product. You will manage high-visibility projects from end-to-end, distilling complicated concepts and communicating them clearly to individuals at all levels of an organization, and cultivating deep trust with key stakeholders.

Product management at Amazon is inherently cross-functional. The right candidate needs to be an owner of their portfolio; making strategic product decisions grounded in data. You will work closely with business teams, leaders, and dedicated user experience design and engineering teams in an agile development environment to launch new features and experiences. Other key responsibilities include monitoring the execution of the project, providing project progress to stakeholders, and ensuring appropriate levels of quality to maintain the overall integrity of the project.
Key job responsibilities
- Define Product Strategy and Roadmap
- Manage product delivery.
- Collaborate with cross platform products for integrations and identifying dependencies.
- Partnering with software development and design teams to deliver on product roadmap.
- Working with key stakeholders in the company to deliver on the product vision
- Establishing goals and reviewing metrics to identify opportunities and deliver success.
A day in the life
Partner with the engineering team to deliver on product roadmap. Work with stakeholders and partners from Marketing org to identify opportunities. Work with the data science team to measure the outcomes that are established.

The team works on building products and tech to enable hiring at scale for Amazon. We build capabilities using data science and machine learning to predict labor demand and provide inputs to optimize levers to fill those labor demands.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $136,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $212,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
