Job Summary
The Senior Creative Project Manager facilitates the strategy, process, prioritization, and execution of multiple and concurrent complex creative projects while collaborating with internal teams and clients. This role ensures intake briefs are complete and accurate, documents project timelines and parameters, deploys creative assets, anticipates obstacles, and finds solutions, and proactively communicates project updates with key stakeholders. The Senior Creative Project Manager is responsible for achieving creative project deadlines from intake to asset delivery in support of business objectives and key results.
Essential Functions
• Independently manage multiple and concurrent complex creative projects and own multi-disciplinary workflows and processes in partnership with Creative leadership, marketing and creative teams, and key stakeholders.
• Identify, recommend and implement policies, processes, and innovative approaches to achieve long term creative objectives.
• Establish and maintain relationships with internal and external creative partners to deliver creative assets to stakeholders on schedule and within budget.
• Develop complex creative project plans including but not limited to intake documentation and creative briefs, project parameters and key milestones, and cost and timeline estimates. Define project requirements gaining understanding of needs for projects that may at times be ambiguous
• Monitors due dates of work-in-progress and routinely communicates project status, budget alignment, brief alignment, project metrics and manages expectations.
• Assess and communicate project risks, resolve bottlenecks, maintain budget and proactively escalate potential issues.
• Proactively lead and partner with internal and external creative team members to achieve project deliverables. Serve as a project advocate to assist with strategy, expectation setting, and ensure team viewpoints are considered.
• Facilitate project related team meetings communicating action steps, and ensuring all team members understand project milestones, requirements, action items, and potential risks.
• Partner with Creative leadership to allocate resources based on capacity and upcoming work. Ensure continued resource availability and allocation for creative projects.
• Manages workflow, reporting, and resourcing of contract based PM’s and Producers for creative and marketing initiatives.
• Manages and mentors contractors, providing guidance, advice, and feedback to less experienced Creative Project Managers.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
• 7+ years of experience as a Creative Producer / Project Manager in a graphic design, marketing/advertising industry or similar creative role.
• 3+ years of experience leading the delivery of large, complex, cross-functional creative projects.
• Experience supporting designers or clients on digital media and/or print media production, vendors, builders or fulfillment house.
• Experience working with a team of creatives to produce seasonal campaigns, campaign toolkits, and photo and video.
• Proficiency with Smartsheets, Word, Excel PowerPoint, Adobe Creative Suite
• Detailed oriented with excellent organizational, budgeting, time management and problem-solving skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communications skills
• Ability to work in a team environment, collaborate and take creative direction
• Ability to multi task and prioritize
• Experienced in working with file formats (PDF, JPG, TIFF)
• Experience working with project management software, asset management tools, and communication platforms
• Works well collaboratively and independently
• Self-motivated and able to initiate projects
Travel Required: No travel will be required
Base Salary: $100,000.00 - $115,000.00 yearly
This range represents the low and high end of the anticipated base salary range for this position. The actual base salary will depend on numerous factors such as: experience, knowledge and skills, and location.
