Senior Analyst, Proposal Writer

Overview

In this role, the Senior Analyst provides support to a large, global sales organization in responding to Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and other formal requests for information. The Senior Analyst leads the proposal development process in coordination with a cross-functional team of internal stakeholders and subject matter experts. They are responsible for writing, editing, and proofreading proposal content, ensuring adherence to client requirements and company brand guidelines.

Responsibilities

Essential Responsibilities:   

• Manages the full lifecycle of the RFP process from receipt to submission.
• Develops and manages the proposal schedule, ensuring all client deadlines are met.
• Schedules and leads RFP response kick-off meetings and status meetings with the sales team and subject matter experts.
• Manages the creation of proposal response (content, format, etc.).
• Writes and coordinates selected proposal content through the use of an internal proposal content library and with input from internal stakeholders and subject matter experts.
• Provides final proofread, editing and standardizing text for proper grammar, spelling, formatting, comprehension and style.
• Maintains and organizes content consistently used in RFP responses via Content Database.

 

 Additional Responsibilities/Details:  

• Coordinates due diligence questionnaires and other client assessments, as needed.
• Coordinates with the Information Security team on security and risk assessments, as needed.
• Leverages contacts internally to remain up to date on service line innovation and new service offerings.
• This position requires frequent, direct communication (written and oral) with current and prospective clients.
• The Senior Analyst experiences recurring work situations but must also deal with frequent variations from normal practices.
• This position requires performance of tasks that at times require high levels of complexity and/or urgency.
• This position identifies areas for development and leads in the creation and implementation of new processes or procedures as required.

Qualifications

Minimum Education Requirements:    [

• BA/BS degree required.

 

Minimum Experience Requirements: 

• Minimum of 3 years relevant RFP experience required.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite is required.
• The ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects with competing deadlines efficiently and effectively is required.
• Excellent communication and follow-up (written and oral) and the ability to clearly articulate issues and problem-solve as necessary are all valued skills in this position and are critical for the department as a whole.
• The Senior Analyst may work with multiple departmental personnel simultaneously. Contacts may contain confidential/sensitive information, necessitating discretion at all times.
