Job Description
Ingram Content Group (ICG) is hiring a Sr. Manager, Consumer Sales to join our team and can be based in LaVergne, TN (Greater Nashville Area) or NYC area. We’re looking for this individual to lead the sales and service strategy and execution for ICG’s new consumer marketing services business.
Working within an entrepreneurial team at Ingram, the Sr. Manager will lead development of long-range strategies and activities that achieve ICG’s revenue goals for the consumer marketing business. The Sr. Manager will oversee the growth of the sales program, including developing the sales strategy for new and existing products, expanding the pipeline, managing financial reporting, formulating and adjusting standard operating procedures, and leading the sales and account management teams

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or directly related year-for-year experience
- 6 years of sales experience
- 3 years prior experience leading/managing project teams
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in the publishing industry
- Experience working with a start-up organization
- Experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud
- Experience with digital advertising
Key Responsibilities:
- Develops and manages strategy and sales of consumer marketing services to publishers, self-published authors, and other relevant targets, adjusting strategy to account for publisher size and Ingram relationship.
- Recruits, trains, supervises and coaches hired and contracted sales and account management teams
- Identifies and engages with publishers to develop new business opportunities and build a pipeline
- Leads the building and maintaining of the consumer marketing services program, including coordinating with marketing managers and account managers on execution/operational plans and sales support needs
- Advises product manager and IT resources, including external providers, on customer needs, development priorities and features
- Uses a data-driven approach to setting the standard operating procedure for the consumer marketing business, modifying it when appropriate in reaction to the changing business
- Provides management thorough reporting on consumer marketing services to include current results against projections, opportunities with current and prospective clients, challenges and suggested resolutions on a continuous basis.
