Spectrolab, Inc., a wholly-owned subsidiary of The Boeing Company, is seeking a Business Process Analyst to join our team in Sylmar, CA.

We are considering candidates with mid- to senior-levels of experience; the selected candidate will report directly to the Vice President of Proposal Management and be responsible for successfully supporting our company’s proposal generation process for business campaigns. They will assist with proposal input coordination, status tracking, metric reporting, and process improvement implementation, ensuring the proposal process is executing efficiently and with first-pass quality. 

The selected candidate will be expected to learn Spectrolab’s products and capabilities, enabling them to grow their career at Spectrolab if desired, into roles such as a Business Capture Team Lead or a Marketing & Business Development Specialist, a Project Manager… or more!

Position Responsibilities:

• Analyze and Improve Processes: Analyze, identify, and implement improvements in proposal process

• Gather Requirements and Communicate: Collect and document business requirements from stakeholders and share findings and recommendations

• Manage Proposals: Plan, schedule, and manage proposals with cross-functional teams

• Monitor Performance & Analyze Data: Track process performance with key metrics and use data to support improvement initiatives

• Document and Ensure Compliance: Create and maintain process documentation and ensure it meets standards, regulations, and best practices

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• 3+ years’ experience managing processes and/or projects

• 3+ years’ experience with Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Project

• Experience developing presentations for and presenting to leadership

• Experience working with a variety of functional teams

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• Bachelor’s degree or higher

• Experience working in a fast-paced, customer service-related environment

• Experience putting proposals / quotes together

Work Location:

This position is expected to be 100% onsite.  The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range for Mid-Level: USD $90,950 – $123,050

Summary pay range for Experienced Level: USD $109,650 – $148,350

Summary pay range for Senior Level: USD $141,100 – $190,900
