Ameresco is looking for a part‑time Data Analyst Admin that will provide administrative, data, and reporting support to the Solar Control Center team responsible for monitoring solar power plant performance across the United States. This role focuses on data compilation, reporting, documentation, coordination, and operational tracking, enabling technical operators and analysts to focus on real‑time system performance and issue response.

This position is ideal for a detail‑oriented, analytically minded professional seeking part‑time hours in a fast‑paced renewable energy operations environment.

Estimated Schedule: Part‑time (approximately 20–24 hours per week).

Responsibilities:

Data & Operational Support

  • Support real‑time control center operations by tracking operational events, alerts, service actions, and performance-related data in internal systems and trackers.

  • Assist with dispatch coordination by preparing service documentation, logging requests, and supporting communication with field and emergency service teams as directed by control center staff.

  • Maintain accurate and well‑organized operational and service data records.

Reporting & Documentation

  • Compile, format, and maintain spreadsheets, dashboards, and basic data summaries related to solar operations and service activity.

  • Assist in preparing written reports, presentation materials, and recurring deliverables for internal stakeholders.

  • Ensure all reports and documentation meet established quality, formatting, and accuracy standards.

Administrative & Coordination Support

  • Support scheduling and tracking of required training, certifications, and continuing education for control center personnel.

  • Assist with meeting coordination, shift documentation, and operational handoffs, including weekend coverage tracking.

  • Serve as an administrative point of contact between the control center and other internal groups (operations, field services, analytics).

Process & Quality Support

  • Help monitor adherence to documentation and reporting procedures.

  • Identify opportunities to improve data organization, reporting workflows, and administrative processes.

  • Perform other administrative and data support duties as needed.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) in Business Analytics, Business Administration, Management Information Systems, or a related field — or equivalent relevant administrative or data support experience.

  • Availability and willingness to work part‑time hours, including two weekend shifts per month.

Additional Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint (including formatting, basic analysis, and presentation support).

  • Strong analytical and quantitative aptitude (administrative/data support focused).

  • Ability to work independently with limited oversight.

  • Clear and professional verbal and written communication skills.

  • Team‑oriented mindset with the ability to work across technical and non‑technical groups.

  • Prior experience in operations support, dispatch support, control centers, or service organizations is a plus.

The anticipated hourly range for this role is $21.15–$30.53 per hour (presented in good faith). In addition to base pay, employees receive a comprehensive benefits package, such as health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off, and may be eligible for performance incentives, bonuses, commissions, or equity, depending on the role.

Actual pay will depend on factors such as internal equity, skills, experience, education, certifications, and location. This range supports our commitment to pay transparency and compliance with applicable laws. Co
