<p><strong>About <a href="http://pump.co/" target="_blank">Pump.co</a></strong></p> <p><strong>Location:</strong> San Francisco, CA (Onsite 5 days a week)</p> <p><strong>Compensation:</strong> $120K–$200K salary + 0.1%–0.6% equity</p> <p>Pump is on a mission to radically simplify AWS cost optimization for teams building in the cloud. We use group buying and AI to help startups save like big tech — often reducing AWS bills by ~60%, completely for free.</p> <p>As a <strong>Frontend Engineer</strong>, you’ll play a foundational role in shaping both our product and our company. You’ll work closely with the founding team, contribute across the stack (especially frontend), and help define our technical direction and culture from the ground up.</p> <p>This is a rare chance to join something early and make a real impact — we hope Pump becomes a career-defining chapter for everyone who joins.</p> <p><strong>What You’ll Do</strong></p> <ul> <li>Build intuitive, performant, and scalable interfaces that bring our vision to life</li> <li>Contribute across the stack, with a strong emphasis on frontend architecture and best practices</li> <li>Work closely with engineers, designers, and founders to ship quickly and iterate based on feedback</li> <li>Help define and execute our technical roadmap — balancing technical debt and innovation</li> <li>Invent, improve, and maintain development processes, tools, and workflows</li> <li>Prototype often and move fast — while maintaining high product quality and UX standards</li> </ul> <p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p> <ul> <li>BS or MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field</li> <li>3+ years of experience as a full stack engineer, with a focus on building scalable and reliable web applications</li> <li>Preferably has experience at a Series B+ to pre-IPO
