About the role

Summary
The Manager of International Tax will be responsible for the company's international tax computations and reporting requirements. This includes calculating the foreign tax credit, GILTI inclusion, and completing the foreign informational returns. In addition, the individual in this role will manage the Transfer Pricing policy and reporting requirements, both for the US and foreign jurisdictions. This position includes monitoring and understanding BEPS Pillar II and the global minimum tax implications and will manage the foreign income tax return preparation for foreign jurisdictions. The individual in this role will also assist the senior accounting manager with the international tax implications for the tax provision. This position is responsible for helping with the direction of the tax department through coordination with the Sr. Manager of Accounting, Manager of Tax Compliance, and Tax Director.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Manages to calculate the firm's foreign tax credit, GILTI, and coordinates the preparation of foreign informational forms (Form 5471s, 8858s, and 8865s).
• Assisted with federal income tax audits and defense of our filing positions, especially regarding our GILTI calculation and transfer pricing policy.
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of the Country-by-Country Report and Transfer Pricing Reports (Master File and Local Files).
• Monitors and understands BEPS Pillar II.
• Calculates any global minimum tax implications.
• Provides ASC 740 support for the international tax calculations included in the global tax provision and support for the STAT tax provisions.
• Manages the tax return filing process for the foreign income tax returns.
• Models and integrates acquisitions, tax law changes, changes in the business structure, and/or other tax planning opportunities.
• Reviews, coordinates, and updates area goals and procedures with the Senior Manager-Tax Accounting, Manager-State Tax Compliance, and Tax Director.

Qualifications
• Experience and proficiency with corporate income tax compliance, including ONESOURCE.
• Analytical ability to review data, systems, and processes to identify and resolve issues.
• Strong knowledge of standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the accounting field.
• Basic understanding of the financial markets and financial services industry.

Education and Experience
• Minimum Required: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, or a related field.
• Minimum Required: 7+ years of corporate international income tax experience.

Licenses and Credentials
• Minimum Required: Series 99 or obtained within six months.
• CPA Preferred.

Systems and Technology
• Proficient in the Microsoft Office suite of products.
• Experience with Alteryx, PowerQuery/PowerPivot, and Power BI Pro.
