About the Job you are considering:

We are seeking an experienced SAP Brownfield Migration Lead / Manager to oversee and drive the transition from SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA using a Brownfield approach. This role requires deep technical and functional understanding of SAP landscapes, strong project leadership skills, and expertise in managing complex system conversion projects with minimal disruption to business operations.

Contributes to overall migration plan from technical / architecture end.  Leads high-level and low-level architecture design. Leads technical/architectural challenges & troubleshooting in projects to find appropriate solutions. Participates with client and vendors on technical architecture and design topics.

Your Role:

• Lead the planning and execution of SAP ECC to S/4HANA Brownfield migrations, ensuring minimal business impact.
• Prepare and Maintain Data Migration plan and oversee Risk Planning, Mitigation, Issue Log, Publishing Status Reports
• Conduct Business Blueprint data migration workshops to discuss the data migration approach, source to target data mapping, transformation and cleansing requirements and finalize to-be design
• Responsible for the identification, extraction, cleaning, mapping, and loading of both master and transactional data from multiple sources into the SAP S4hana system.
• Design and manage ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes, including the development of load programs using tools like LSMW, LTMC, and others
• Develop and implement strategies for mapping and transforming data from source to target systems.
• Deliver Business Blueprint, configuration, functional specifications, data mapping templates, unit test scripts as per business requirements
• Ensure data integrity and quality throughout the migration process.
• Work with functional consultants to verify data and troubleshoot any issues that arise during the migration.
• Maintain documentation of data migration processes and procedures including DoMD (Data Migration mapping documents)
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define migration strategy, roadmap, and timelines.
• Manage cross-functional teams including technical experts, functional consultants, and business users.
• Coordinate pre-conversion activities such as custom code analysis, simplification item checks, and data cleanup.
• Ensure proper handling of custom developments, interfaces, and third-party integrations.
• Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies throughout the migration lifecycle.
• Communicate status, issues, and progress clearly to executives and project sponsors.

 Your skills and experience:

• Minimum 10+ years of SAP experience, with significant involvement in SAP ECC to S/4HANA migration projects.
• Proven experience leading Brownfield system conversion using SAP's recommended tools and methodologies.
• Deep knowledge of SAP ECC and S/4HANA architecture, data structures, and technical components.
• Strong understanding of functional modules (FI, CO, SD, MM, PP) and cross-module impacts.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
