Citibank, N.A. seeks a Community Relations International, Latin America Head for its Miami, Florida location.
Duties: Design, lead and execute Community Relations International Planning, Governance, Risk and Controls initiatives for business planning formation within Latin America social investment institutions. Create end to end strategic solutions that can be adopted globally for operations on the Community Relations International teams spanning, corporate governance, non-profits governance, policies for governance of corporate charitable giving, and grant making. Provide strategic financial and operational planning for community engagement and Foundation efforts. Oversee charitable contributions process of corporate philanthropic giving and financial donations, community engagement, volunteer programming and the Foundation grant program across 20 countries in Latin America to drive positive societal impact. Lead effective risk and controls management and cross-geographical knowledge transfers, including policy adherence and financial budget controls. Lead the engagements with external stakeholders, community organizations, researchers, think-tanks, industry groups and peer foundation leadership teams. Assess local and Latin America reputation risks to the franchise and interface with stakeholders across Latin America to set strategies and positioning. Identify and mitigate reputational risks associated with Foundation grant investments across Latin America and determine issues that should be escalated to manage risk. Manage and execute volunteering programming across Latin America. Manage relationship of Foundation portfolio of grantees in cluster including communications, relationship management, project monitoring, project evaluation, and volunteering engagement. Serve as a spending authority for the cluster's charitable contributions budget and operational expenses. Represent the organization at public events and public relations opportunities. A telecommuting/hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite, in accordance with Citi policies and protocols.
Requirements: Requires a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, International Business, Management or related field and 8 years of experience as Community Development Sr Group Manager, Community Relations Sr Manager/COO, Business Planning & Analysis Manager or related position involving business planning formation within Latin America social investment institutions. Alternatively, will accept a Bachelor’s degree in the stated fields and 10 years of the specified progressive, post-baccalaureate experience. 8 years of experience must include: Non-profits governance; Policies for governance of corporate charitable giving; Grant making; Corporate philanthropic giving and financial donations; Non-profit operations, governance, programming and differences within Latin America jurisdictions; Corporate governance; Finance, accounting and tax within Latin America; Implementation of CRM and financial technology platforms within Latin America; Development of Risk and Control frameworks within Latin America in compliance with US regulatory frameworks; and Corporate foundation governance and financial planning including operational budget, reserves and cash flow.
