This opportunity resides with Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Cyber, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (C5ISR), a business group within HII’s Mission Technologies division. Who We Are

HII-Mission Technologies is seeking a Cyber Intelligence Analyst in Doral, FL to analyze cyber threat data across all available verticals/threat sources, including available research, distribution, and proprietary data collection tools.  


This position is in support of US Southern Command (USSOUTHCOM) operations, planning, engagements, and security cooperation in its assigned Area of Responsibility (AOR), which currently includes Central America, South America, and the Caribbean Sea.


One of six US geographic combatant commands, USSOUTHCOM deters aggression, defeats threats, rapidly responds to crises, and builds regional capacity by working with partner nations and mission partners to enhance security and defend the US homeland and national interests. USSOUTHCOM is responsible for providing contingency planning, operations, and security cooperation in its AOR to understand and counter threats from transnational criminal organizations, violent extremist organizations, and malign regional and external state actors. 

What You Will Do

  • Analyzes cyber threat data across all available verticals/threat sources, including available research, distribution, and proprietary data collection tools.  
  • Analyzes and disseminates defense-specific and organization specific threat data and breached data and disseminate digital exposure assessment, both within the government and external. 
  • Provides senior leadership with the information required to make informed decisions and assume risks while still accomplishing critical missions and supporting priorities. Reviews open-source reporting to include industry-standard cybersecurity sources and closed source reporting to identify new cyber threats, including software vulnerabilities, malware, and schemes leveraged by malicious actors. 
  • Develops products, briefings, summaries, executive reporting, and other materials necessary to disseminate information gathered to internal and external stakeholders.  
  • Maintains dossiers or knowledge base on threat actors and attack campaigns – to include associated entities, link analysis, and Tactics Techniques, and Procedures (TTPs) – in a manner that makes unstructured or uncategorized information usable.
     

What We Are Looking For

  • 5 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 3 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 9 years relevant experience.
  • 5+ years of Intelligence Analyst experience 
  • Experience with translating highly technical documents and interpreting them to leadership. 
  • Required English/Spanish or Brazilian Portuguese Fluency.
  • Clearance: Must possess and maintain a Top-Secret clearance with SCI eligibility. 
     

Preferred Requirements

  • Experience supporting international customers. 
  • Supported USSOUTHCOM in previous roles. 
  • Experience with COCOM networks.
