2024 Internship, Summer - Academy Operations - Part Time

Company Description

The internship is designed to provide experience in working with the Academy structure of the club. Candidates will learn how the Academy operated and have responsibilities to assist the department with a number of new initiatives.

Job Description

WHAT YOU'LL LEARN

• Administration: Assisting daily with the management and tracking of key administrative tasks.
• Game Day Operations: Working knowledge of how Academy home games operate at Red Bulls Training Facility.
• Kit & Equipment: Assisting with the distribution, ordering, organization, and tracking of training kit and equipment
• Scheduling: Working knowledge of how the online schedule works for training and games for all Academy teams.
• Scouting: Understanding of how the Academy uses video to scout potential players.
• Travel: Understanding of how to plan and coordinate travel for all Academy teams.

Qualifications

Undergraduate or graduate student with aim to enter the operations side of sports

Willingness to learn

Desire to work in sports

Ability to commute to Whippany, NJ 3-4x per week

This is an unpaid, for credit internship (proof that you will receive credit is required). 

You must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Because of the cyclical nature of the entertainment industry, your assigned hours may vary to reflect our needs (includes nights and weekends).
