Facilities Team Leader

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Facitlities Team Leader to join our National Highways England account based at Amey, Cathedral Square, Building 1000, Ground Floor, Cathedral Square, Cathedral Hill, Surrey Way, Guildford GU2 7YL and other National Highways sites in Hampshire - This role will require travel across sites (UK driving licence is essential) 

 

The salary is £15.61 per hour.

 

The hours of work are 37.5 hours per week.

 

Amey provides comprehensive facilities and estate management services for National Highways, including maintenance, cleaning, and project management.

We collaborate with clients, staff, and partners to ensure our 24/7 service maintains high standards with minimal disruption, keeping one of Europe's busiest road networks safe and operational.

 

What you will do:

• Lead on the day to day running of the site.
• Leading and motivating a team of staff to ensure they provide the best customer service
• Comply with all health & safety legislations
• Building and ground maintenance
• Ensure high quality of daily reception and front of house services
• Ensure premises are maintained in a safe and secure manner
• General security services, including management of CCTV and alarm systems.
• React to and execute immediately any general repairs and maintenance duties as required.
• Accountable for ensuring site compliance with statutory, regulatory, and contractual requirements

• Previous experience of working within the facilities/Estate management
• Good communication skills
• Team players good at developing strong working relationships with on-site client and employees
• Demonstrate a reliable and responsible approach
• Developing strong working relationships with on-site client and employees

• This role will also support both local and business zero carbon programmes, working towards zero carbon in a strategic and lean manner as and where it is appropriate.

• Responsible for ensuring H&S standards are achieved across the contract.
