JOB SUMMARY: This is an Administrative Assistant I position in the General Tax Administration Program, Refunds and Revenue Accounting Process, Refunds Process. The incumbent is responsible for performing administrative functions in support of Refunds management staff, such as filing, scanning, mail distribution and tracking, purchasing office supplies, managing inventory, and reconciling purchase orders. The incumbent also reviews and directs emails to the appropriate staff, ensures problem resolution, and enters changes to data in the System for Unified Taxation (SUNTAX), specifically the Refund Case Management System.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Two years of administrative or clerical work experience.

SUBSTITUTIONS:

  • An associate degree or higher can substitute for the required experience.

PREFERENCES:

  • Experience working with the System for Unified Taxation (SUNTAX).
  • Experience working in Microsoft Word and Excel.

SALARY: The hiring salary for this position generally will not exceed $2,875.77 monthly/$34,509.24 annually.
