Our team is composed of seasoned entrepreneurs, scientists, and operators, and we're backed by top-tier investors.</p></div><p><strong>Position Overview:</strong></p> <p class="font-claude-response-body break-words whitespace-normal">We're adding our first dedicated contracts and commercial legal resource, reporting into the SVP of Corporate Operations (GC). This is a high-visibility, high-ownership role for someone who is energized by being a true business partner — not just a reviewer. You'll manage the full lifecycle of our commercial, vendor, and partner agreements, and help build the legal infrastructure that will support MyOme as we scale. You'll work closely with our Corporate Operations Manager (Sr. Corporate Paralegal), collaborating as a tight-knit legal function embedded in the business.</p> <p class="font-claude-response-body break-words whitespace-normal">This role offers genuine room to grow. As MyOme expands, so does the scope of this position.</p> <p><strong>What You'll Do:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Draft, review, negotiate, and manage a broad range of commercial agreements including customer contracts, vendor agreements, MSAs, SOWs, NDAs, data use agreements, and partnership/licensing deals</li> <li>Serve as the primary point of contact for contract-related matters across commercial, R&amp;D, and operations teams</li> <li>Maintain and continuously improve our contract templates, playbooks, and approval workflows</li> <li>Advise business stakeholders on contract risk, obligations, and compliance in plain language</li> <li>Support due diligence and legal review for business development and partnership opportunities</li> <li>Coordinate with outside counsel as needed on complex or specialized matters</li> <li>Ensure contracts are properly executed, stored, and tracked through their lifecycle</li> <li>Contribute to the development of internal legal policies and procedures as the company grows</li> </ul> <p><strong>What You'll Ne</strong><strong>ed:</strong></p> <ul> <li class="font-claude-response-body whitespace-normal break-words pl-2">J.D. from an accredited law school and active bar membership in at least one U.S. state</li> <li class="font-claude-response-body whitespace-normal break-words pl-2">Bar admission in California required; candidates currently admitted in another state who are
