                                          Sr. Oracle EBS Developer

                    6-month contract-to-hire; Alexandria, VA (Remote) 

 

SUMMARY:

• Tier One Technologies has an immediate need for a Sr. Oracle EBS Developer to support our direct US Government client.
• This will be a 100% remote Contract-to-Hire position.

SELECTED CANDIDATES WITHOUT REQUIRED CLEARANCE WILL BE SUBJECT TO A FEDERAL GOVERNMENT BACKGROUND INVESTIGATION TO RECEIVE IT.

Responsibilities

• Support Finance & Payment Technology Services for application and system development, maintenance, and overall technical support as required.
• Demonstrate Functional expertise in implementing modules relating to the functionality of Oracle eBusiness Suite, Financials – Purchasing (PO), Accounts Receivables (AR), Accounts Payables (AP), Fixed Assets (FA), Project Accounting (PA) and General Ledger (GL).
• Enhance and support existing production applications and create new applications as the need arises.
• Develop, implement and maintain policies, procedures, and programs for ensuring the security and integrity of company data, databases, information systems, and technology.
• Conduct risk management analysis and create business continuity, contingency, and disaster recovery plans.
• As directed by the Software Architect, effectively and proactively work with customers/end users of application(s) to ensure needs are being met / managed in a positive manner.

Provide on-call and after hours support as required to support the production systems.

Qualifications

• A degree from an accredited College/University in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline.
• 10+ years of experience in software development and/or related field.
• 8+ years of experience developing objects and code in Oracle eBusiness Suite 12.2.9 – Financials.
• Oracle EBS Financials knowledge centering around Account Payable, Account Receivable, General Ledger, iSupplier, Oracle Projects, and Fixed Assets.
• Strong implementation background and ability to solve complex business requirements.
• In-depth knowledge of the modules to minimize RICE development and use COTS functionality in designing solutions.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum processes and management tools (preferably VersionOne) and IT Service Management Systems (preferably ServiceNow).
• Expertise in Oracle PL/SQL.
• Strong knowledge of payment processing and methods including EFT and NACHA requirements.
• Knowledge of Kafka Queues, APIs, and Flat File processing.
• Experience designing, implementing, operating and administering relational DBMS.
• Demonstrate development/support experience with more than one DBMS product (e.g. Oracle, SQL Server).
• Excellent communication skills.
• Must be able to obtain a Position of Public Trust Clearance.
• Must be able to pass a drug screening, criminal history, and credit checks.
• Must be a US Citizen or have permanent residence status (Green Card).
• Must have lived in the United States for the past 5 years.
• Cannot have more than 6 months travel outside the United States within the last five years. Military Service excluded. (Exception does not include military family members.)
