Junior Fullstack Software Engineer

We are on the lookout for a Junior Fullstack Engineer to join our growing engineering team. You'll be part of a skilled team, crafting clean code with the latest technologies and participating in the entire software development lifecycle. This role provides an opportunity to develop high-quality code for our web application using TypeScript, React, Node.js, Go, Java, and other modern tools, and to collaborate on feature planning and implementation across the full stack.

Job responsibilities:

• Develop high-quality code for our web application using TypeScript, React, Node.js, Go, Java, and other modern tools
• Collaborate on feature planning and implementation across the full stack
• Engage in sprint planning, retrospectives, and technical roadmap discussions
• Ensure seamless feature integration from development to production in collaboration with designers and product managers
• Adhere to coding, testing, and deployment best practices

Required Qualifications, capabilities and skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience
• 1+ year of software development experience or demonstrable contributions to a private or open source software project
• Proficiency in JavaScript, React, and/or backend development in Node, Go, or Java
• Solid grasp of web development fundamentals like HTML, CSS, REST, and APIs
• Eagerness to learn new technologies and frameworks
• You are empathetic, curious, and pragmatic

Preferred Qualifications, capabilities and skills:

• Experience with TypeScript, Redux, Chakra UI, NextJS, GraphQL, or similar technologies
• Familiarity with the Agile development process and experience participating in sprints and team meetings
• Experience in writing tests and ensuring code quality through continuous integration and deployment practices
