Summary

SRP (Salt River Project) is looking for a Benefits Analyst to join a dynamic and growing Human Resources team to help take us to the next level of great support for our employees. In addition to joining a team responsible for day-to-day administration of our employee benefit programs, we need your expertise in developing and implementing best in class solutions to our employees’ changing needs and desires.

The SRP Benefits team provides direct support to employees, retirees, and other plan participants by managing our benefit programs, troubleshooting issues, and assisting in the onboarding and offboarding of employees. The Benefits team manages relationships with several benefit vendors, consultants and collaborates with internal departments such as Talent & Acquisition, Compensation, Payroll, Employee Relations, administrative support for SRP’s Board & Council, Accounting, and IT support teams. Our small, dynamic, and effective team connects participants to top tier benefits and services as part of the overall employee total rewards program.

As a Benefits Analyst at SRP you will be responsible for the support and administration of SRP's Health & Welfare benefit plans which include medical, dental, vision, behavioral health, and life and disability. You will use your benefits knowledge & expertise to provide day-to-day support to our employee benefits programs, plan compliance, monthly benefit budget analysis and billing as well as providing outstanding customer service to our employees.

What You'll Do

  • Act as a subject matter expert and provide excellent customer service to SRP employees and retirees through the timely and accurate resolution of employee benefits inquiries.
  • Answer phones and respond to emails for general employee questions and requests. Assist members in processing life events, and other basic benefits transactions.
  • Administer the offboarding of employees and educate retirees on Retiree medical benefits.
  • Review and work closely with payroll to administer payroll deductions and elections, including support of non-payroll participants.
  • Provide support to ongoing project-related initiatives for SRP's core benefits.
  • Assist in the administration of SRP’s Health and Welfare benefit plans consistent with SRP’s strategy and business plans.
