To secure these systems and the related services are of high quality, it is crucial to have a strong system integration execution that ensures our designs work as intended.
The System Integration DUV (SI) department is part of the Performance & Integration (P&I) cluster within D&E. P&I integrates, industrializes, releases and supports lithography solutions for our customers and optimize the R&D work experience for our people. This helps ASML achieve the performance and industrialization requirements for both business and compliance drivers over the product’s life cycle.
The mission of the Quality and Business Performance Manager for the DUV System Integration department is to define, implement and roll out quality and process. In this role you will contribute the department and cluster strategy development, process optimalisation and interface with internal customers (D&E, factory, CS).
You will be part of the System Integration DUV staff and work closely with the D&E Performance & Integration cluster Quality team.

Role and responsibilities
In this position you are responsible to ensure a strategic focus for the department to implement quality and process improvements from concept to realization and roll out. You work closely with the line managers and project managers in the department, as well as with the other quality managers within the D&E Performance & Integration cluster.
Responsibilities:
- Drive for clear process around department deliverables, KD assessments
- Identify and drive process improvements with stakeholders like performance, industrialization and system engineering
- Contribute to department performance as member of the department staff
- Drive learnings from feedback loops, in department and with internal customers like customer support and factory
- Provide advice and support to line management / 3-iab on quality-related decisions
- Support strategy discussion via Hoshin Kanri method for department and P&I cluster
- Facilitate the break through projects in the department according to the Hoshin Kanri methodology
- Ensure reporting on strategic projects on department and cluster level
- Stimulate the system integration department staff in their quality mindset.
- Monitor, investigate & analyze cross-departmental quality and process status in D&E P&I
Education and experience
- Bachelor or master degree, with proven affinity for technology
- 5 years of work experience for a candidate with a Master’s degree
- Experience with product development and engineering projects in a high-tech environment, from conception and initiation to embedding in the organization
- Experience in process improvement, quality and/or reliability
