Pavion and our family of companies are seeking a talented and motivated Senior Accountant to join our shared services team.

Primary Responsibilities:

Responsible for P&L and balance sheet accounting for assigned areas to include journal entries, account reconciliations, account analysis, and schedules. Responsible for job costing, calculating and recording percent of completion (POC)
Research and investigate financial variances for monthly fluctuation analysis (P&L and balance sheet); resolve in an expeditious manner
Maintain corporate add backs schedule for all BUs to ensure we have support for all bridge items to Adjusted EBITDA. Assist with month end intercompany account reconciliation
Prepare business process documentation for core activities. Identify, make recommendations and implement process improvements
Other duties as assigned

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance or related
7+ years’ experience in accounting
Experience in job costing
Experienced in complex accounting matters and in applying US GAAP
Experience in the application of accrual accounting for hard month-end close cut-off
Demonstrates strong Excel skills and analytic thinking
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence all levels within an organization
Ability to act and operate independently with minimal daily direction to accomplish objectives
Ability to identify and implement process optimization strategies

Preferred Qualifications:

CPA or Advanced degree in Accounting, Finance or related
Public accounting experience
Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems and other support applications
Ability and desire to learn new skills
