About CSI

Our story begins in Omaha in 1892, when, due to epidemics, poverty and the difficulties of pioneer life, many children were left in need of parental care. CSI met the need in a revolutionary way – putting the well-being of children first and working to be a voice for the voiceless. We seek to champion children and families by providing the mental, emotional and physical spaces they need to feel empowered and to thrive.

Child Saving Institute (CSI) is looking for someone who has a mind full of wonder and a heart-filled desire to make a difference! We’re on a mission to champion what’s best for each child and family.

As a PMIC Youth Care Specialist, you’ll be an essential part of our team. Your responsibilities would include teaching daily life skills, implementing treatment plans, and providing direct supervision and support to youth. In short, our Youth Care Specialists help create a structured, safe, and therapeutic environment while mentoring and modeling positive behaviors for children and teens in residential care.

What makes CSI special…

  • GROWTH – Ongoing training and professional development
  • FUN – A collaborative, team-focused environment
  • IMPACT – Make a difference in the lives of children and families every day

Here’s who we are looking for…

Someone who:

  • Has a positive and reliable work ethic
  • Brings patience, empathy, and strong communication skills
  • Can provide daily supervision and structure
  • Enjoys teaching and mentoring youth through positive role modeling

  • Skilled in teamwork, documentation, and communication
