Summary of Job Duties:
The Mail and Shipping Supervisor is responsible for operations of shipping, receiving, mail and the back end process of Marketing and Redistribution (M&R). • Responsible for oversight of mail delivers on and between campuses, bulk mail and courier services
• Oversee the maintenance of departmental equipment on all campuses
• Supervise employees onsite and remotely
• Resolve campus issues involving shipping, receiving, mail and pick and scheduling of M&R
• Coordinate the disposal process with the M&R and the Inventory Control Specialist and ensure
the property is prepared for delivery
• Prepare reports as requested for planning and decision making
• Maintain tracking document on shipments
• Ensure coverage for the department and remote site
• Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Must be able to lift, push, and pull 50lbs.
- Must have experience in the following operations: Mail distribution, Shipping and Receiving, and State M&R disposal processes.
- Must have GED or equivalent.
- Must have clean driving record and the ability to drive a forklift.
- Supervisory experience a plus.
