DIGITAL MEDIA MANAGER-RESORT MARKETING -CRDE (FT/VARIES)

Oversees the day-to-day operation of the Pearl River Resort Digital Media, including websites and/or social media.    Pearl River Resort Associates are required, on a continual basis to…   Adhere to any and all company and departmental policies, practices and procedures.   Contribute to a safe work environment, through compliance with established health & safety guidelines, identifying potential safety and/or health hazards, and reporting same to the appropriate person for proper resolution.          Maintain a professional departmental, company and community reputation.   ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:

• Work under established time constraints, design requirements and deadlines without sacrificing quality.
• Create a department that can produce rich Digital Media Designs and unique video for use by Pearl River Resort in their electronic marketing and advertising campaigns and for on property video and interactive displays.
• Utilize the Macintosh and Windows platform computers to design and create Pearl River Resort’s online and interactive advertising, to include websites, video displays, digital signage, Video Wall, email correspondence (eblasts), special video presentations, and other multimedia items as needed.
• Assist, as needed, the creative marketing team with design concepts, completed designs, or peer review of Resort static advertising designs and collateral.
• Assist the advertising department or agency in video and commercial creation as needed.
• Learn, develop and implement advanced multimedia design skills, while maintaining a broad knowledge of current web and rich media design and production techniques.
• Coordinate with affiliated outside agencies, vendors, consultants, and other tribal organizations to coordinate web and email marketing efforts for the Resort.
• Oversee the creative and updates for all Pearl River Resort websites.
• Assist in providing strategic marketing and business plans for the Resort’s entities with regard to web and rich media requirements.
• Take the initiative by undertaking self-development activities, seeking increased responsibilities, asking for help and offering assistance to others when needed.
• Ensure that the workplace remains safe through the training, mentoring and use of the established policies, procedures and guidelines.
• Assist in promoting teamwork, efficiency and dedication while contributing to the development of a “true unit” by contributing to and supporting team behaviors performed by each individual assigned associate.
• Work in conjunction with the IT (Information Technology) department to ensure optimal performance of the web’s services, system connectivity, associate and guest portals and the accessibility of online presence.
• Maintain a positive and respectful attitude in all phases of completing the assigned responsibilities and duties and promote the same attitude to the other associates.
• Perform all other duties as assigned or required in order to meet the responsibilities of the position and for the Resort’s operations.

Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.   AGE and GAMING: 21 years of age or above Gaming property – Must be able to obtain and maintain a gaming license issued by the Choctaw Gaming Commission.   EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: High School diploma or GED is required.  Bachelor’s degree in Multimedia Design, Web Design or a related field.  An equivalent amount of previous on-the-job experience or industrial training may be substituted in lieu of the formal education requirements for this position.
