Job Description

The Technology and Operations team provides client services & order management to several organizations throughout NBCUniversal including Television Distribution, Universal Pictures Group and NBCU Global Networks. As part of the Technology Operations team, Global Client Operations serves as the liaison between various departments to fulfill content to all distribution outlets. The GCO Coordinator will work closely with the various internal and external digital media groups, the 24x7 support team, the Media Operations Teams, the Advanced Media Products team, and Engineering to ensure the accurate and reliable distribution of content to secondary platforms and third-party clients.

  • Manage brand/client engagement for day-to-day publication of NBCU content to secondary distribution platforms/clients.
  • Investigate content-related rejections from clients and over-see re-delivery of media to end destination.
  • Track and reconcile root causes of rejections to maintain 99.99% reliable deliveries.
  • Support the Content Governance team in analyzing metrics to support workflow improvements. 
  • Identify patterns, recommend and implement timely solutions with appropriate parties throughout the supply chain
  • Communicating with internal teams on package delivery transfers/issues for all distribution platforms.
  • Understanding of various workflows in order to escalate issues to the proper teams or clients.
  • All other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • BA/BS in a related field or equivalent experience
  • 1+ year experience in digital media or broadcast/entertainment operations
  • 1+ year experience directly managing client or account relationships
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and requirements, including the ability to multi-task and juggle many competing priorities and deadlines
  • Successfully able to manage a high volume of emails while maintaining timely responsiveness
  • Highly developed communication and oral presentation skills
  • Intellecually curious, passionate about solving complex problems
  • Technical proficiency in media specifications a plus


Preferred Qualifications: 

  • 1+ year experience in a role demonstrating strong technical, quantitative, or analytical skills 
  • Excellent teamwork skills, with the ability to effectively interact with all levels of management
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
  • Knowledge of SharePoint, Teams, Smartsheet a plus
  • Must be willing and able to work on any shift including, overnights, swing, or weekend as needed 
  • Experience in multiplatform digital content distribution (e.g. Broadband, iTunes, Hulu, etc.)     
  • Passion for new media distribution and keeping up to date with emerging platforms and the latest technology trends
  • Proven track record of impeccable communication skills, both written and verbal with strong attention to detail      
  • Experience interacting with clients, such as programming, post houses and producers
  • Possess strong interpersonal skills for interacting with senior leaders and global clients     
  • A respectful team player, who follows rules and policy, has good communication skills while maintaining a positive attitude
