Position Summary
Sabel Systems is seeking a Summer People Operations Intern to support our Human Resources and Talent Acquisition functions within a government contracting (GovCon) environment. This paid summer internship is ideal for students pursuing Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Communications, or related fields who want hands-on experience supporting people-focused programs and organizational operations.
Work You’ll Do
As an Intern, you will work closely with experienced Human Resources and Talent Acquisition professionals to support employee lifecycle activities, recruiting initiatives, and compliance processes while learning how effective People Operations support teams, programs, and day-to-day business operations.

Work You’ll Do / Key Responsibilities
Assist with day-to-day People Operations and HR administrative activities.
Support Talent Acquisition efforts, including interview coordination, candidate communications, and onboarding preparation.
Help maintain employee records and documentation in HR systems.
Assist with data tracking and reporting related to recruiting, onboarding, and employee lifecycle events.
Support HR initiatives related to employee engagement, training, and internal communications.
Learn and support compliance-related processes (e.g., EEO, OFCCP, internal policy adherence).
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support a positive employee experience.
Your Qualifications
Required
Currently enrolled undergraduate or graduate student pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Communications, or a related field
Strong academic record, cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Professional communication skills and discretion when handling sensitive information
Ability to manage multiple tasks and work collaboratively in a team environment
Must be at least 18 years of age
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship now or in the future
Preferred (Not Required)
Interest in Talent Acquisition, HR operations, or employee engagement
Exposure to HRIS or ATS platforms through coursework or prior experience
Interest in compliance, policy development, or workforce planning

Work Location & Schedule
The 2026 Summer Internship Program runs June 1, 2026, through August 7, 2026, and is open to candidates located within the United States.
This internship is fully remote and supports the Eastern Standard Time Zone, with an expected commitment 40 hours per week, depending on department needs.
This internship pays $25.00 per hour.
