Traveling Fixture Installer- Hillsboro, OR

Location: Hillsboro, OR and Surrounding Areas 
Employment Type: Full Time 
Pay Range: $20 - $23 per hour, based on experience 

Position Summary: 

Signature Retail Services is seeking a motivated, hands-on individual to join our Travel Team for store remodel projects with leading home improvement retailers such as Home Depot, Lowe’s, and Ace Hardware. This full-time role offers weekly travel across Oregon and the West Coast region, traveling home on weekends. It’s an excellent opportunity for those with prior Fixture Installation or New Store Set-Up experience, as well as those looking to transition from construction, general labor, or other hands-on work into a fast-paced, active position with room to learn and grow!  

Key Responsibilities: 

• Travel independently to assigned project locations using your personal vehicle. 
• Install steel pallet racking, cantilever systems, steel beams, cash wraps, and other store fixtures according to specifications. 
• Accurately read and interpret floorplans and layout drawings. Prior knowledge of blueprint/floorplan reading a huge plus!  
• Measure, level, and anchor fixtures with precision to ensure safe, accurate installation. 
• Collaborate with project managers and other installers to meet deadlines and quality standards. 
• Operate power tools and heavy equipment, including scissor lifts and forklifts, safely and effectively. 
• Relocate merchandise, price labels, adjust shelving, and build quality displays that meet client standards. 
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment throughout each project. 
• Consistently move and handle building materials such as lumber, doors, windows, and steel racking fixtures. 
• Prior experience reading POGs (Plan-O-Grams) is a plus!  

Minimum Requirements:  

• Must be 21+ years or older and authorized to work in the U.S. 
• Have a Valid driver’s license, personal vehicle for travel, and basic auto insurance. 
• Frequent travel ability to project locations and work across multiple states. 
• Previous experience of fixture installations, steel pallet racking, and/or remodel merchandising a huge plus! 
• Forklift OSHA certification or other relevant safety training is a bonus! Employees will receive certification training. 
• Possess basic hand and power tools (e.g., tape measure, box cutter, work gloves) and demonstrate strong working knowledge. 
• Access to a personal Smartphone at all times with call, text, and email capability. 
• Excellent attention to detail and effective problem-solving skills. 
• Thrives in both independent and team- driven environment. 
• This position involves duties such as lifting, bending, stooping, sitting, standing, walking, and safely climbing ladders. 
• This position involves regular lifting requirements of 60+ lbs without assistance throughout the shift.
