Description
Job Summary: Supervises and coordinates activities of associates engaged in producing and manufacturing products.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
· Directly supervises associates on specific manufacturing lines
· Monitors and reduces overtime where applicable
· Carries out responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s attendance policy and applicable laws
· Trains employees and directs work
· Addresses workplace complaints
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
· Assists associates in performing daily tasks according to standard work instructions
· Operates machinery in a safe manner
· Assists individuals with equipment at all process stations
· Clears all faults and restarts machinery
· Informs Area Production Manager of all quality issues
· Accurately completes paperwork and data entry
· Maintains 5S standards
· Inspects and measures parts to verify conformance to specifications
· Directs workers in adjusting machines and equipment to repair products that fail quality standards
· Establishes work procedures to meet production schedules
· Develops, recommends, and implements measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and product quality
· Suggests changes for working conditions and equipment usage to increase efficiency
· Analyzes and resolves work problems or assists others in solving problems
· Monitors absenteeism for all associates
· Retains time and production records
· Develops associates through cross-training and keeps records of progress
· Writes Detail Process Sheets and Failure Mode Effect Analysis
· Controls all TPM Goals (Safety, Scrap, Customer Defects, In-Process Defects, and Downtime Frequency)
· Follows all RCRA aspects of packaging, labeling, handling, and manifesting hazardous waste
· Supports continuous improvement programs for Health, Safety, and Environmental programs
· Maintains SQDCME Boards and participates in IPD meetings

Preferred Education and/or Experience:
· High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
· Minimum Two (2) Years of Manufacturing Experience
· Experience in a Continuous Improvement Environment
Computer and Technology Skills:
· Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel
Mathematical Skills:
· Ability to work with mathematical concepts, such as probability and statistical inference, and the ability to apply concepts, such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations
Physical Demands:
· Required to Stand, Walk, Sit, Talk, and Hear
· Plant is Not Climate-Controlled
· May be Required to Lift and/or Move up to 50 Pounds Daily
