Duties and Responsibilities:
- *Convert the GIS-based suitability analysis results for the potential of land-based aquaculture for Oahu into an online map service.
- *Extend the GIS-based suitability analysis to the other islands of Kauai, Molokai, Lanai, Maui, and the Big Island of Hawaii.
- *Add the GIS-based suitability analysis results of the other islands to the online map services created for Oahu.
- Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:
- A Master’s degree in Natural Resource Management or a related field from a college or university of recognized standing.
- Familiarity with basic concepts of GIS.
- Familiarity with basic techniques and operations of GIS.
- Demonstrated ability to conduct GIS data and overlay analysis.
- Demonstrated ability to interpret and present information and ideas clearly and accurately in writing, verbally and by preparation of reports and other materials.
- Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external organizations, groups, team members and individuals.
- Demonstrated ability to pay attention to details.
- Professionalism in meeting and conferring with others.
Desirable Qualifications:
- Familiarity with the operations of ArcGIS Pro
- Familiarity with online map design and publishing with the ArcGIS Online platform
- Familiarity with handling various data types and data management
- Experience working with aquaculture GIS such as fishponds and hydrology data
- Experience working with land use ordinances and TMK
