Job Summary

We are looking for an Assistant Cafe Manager to join our team!

 

As the Assistant Cafe Manager, you are responsible for assisting the Cafe Manager on the overall success of the Cafe. This means adhering to our user’s (partner) culture and guidelines, the Health Department’s regulations, and Compass standards and expectations of food quality, freshness and presentation. 

 

You will assist the Cafe Manager for managing the daily operations of the cafe, including selection, development, and performance management of employees. As the Assistant Cafe Manager, you will also motivate and direct all employees to accomplish the objectives of the operation to the satisfaction of the customers, and maintain a working relation with the user.

 

What we look for in a great candiddate

• Minimum of 1 years of applicable experience in a like volume and quality food service establishment 

• Possess general hospitality knowledge and interest in sustainability and sustainable food practices

• We’d love a bachelor's degree but if not equivalent professional experience

• Excellent communication skills - written & verbal

• Proven track record of leadership with great culinary knowledge 

• Restaurant, hotel & events experience is definitely a plus!
