About the Sr Manager, Security & Cloud Operations at Headspace:

As the Senior Manager of Security and Cloud Operations, you will lead our cloud and cybersecurity operations team, with a focus on designing, implementing, and maintaining robust security measures to protect our cloud-based systems and applications; including, but not limited to: the overall security of our cloud technology architecture and infrastructure, solutions and platforms. System administration/maintenance, software and systems deployment, technology process improvement, supporting incident response, optimizing system and platform performance, and meeting business continuity and disaster recovery requirements

What you will do:
- Provide oversight and challenge to our public cloud and security operations strategy, tooling, processes, and requirements
- Influence Headspace’s cloud and security architecture and design decisions, representing our corporate risk appetite
- Work closely with enterprise architects, product managers, cloud engineers, security engineers to understand our processes and approaches and influence change where appropriate
- Challenge platform architecture and engineering standards and ensure compliance
- Advise on best practices and approaches to implementation
- Provide oversight and challenge to our containerization and serverless strategies and implementations
What you will bring:
Required Skills:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent
- Demonstrated ability to drive technical innovation and deliver high-impact projects in a fast-paced environment
- Minimum of 7 years of hands-on experience in a technical environment maintaining AWS technologies and servers in hybrid and cloud environments
- Minimum of 3 years of managing people, specifically network and/or system engineering resources
- At least 3 years of experience in cloud architecture or engineering organization
- Cloud certifications such as AWS Solutions Architect Associate or Professional and GCP Professional Cloud Architect
- Proven experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining network solutions and infrastructure with a strong understanding of networking protocols, architectures, and technologies.
- Hands-on experience with network and identity security tools and technologies, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs, SIEM, etc
- Experience with network security protocols and standards, such as IPsec, SSL/TLS, DNSSEC, SNMP, etc
- Domain experience in public cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud
- The candidate should possess excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing security vulnerabilities, along with strong communication skills, are critical for this position
- Excellent team player with great leadership, interpersonal and influential skills
- Ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders
- Must have excellent technical writing skills

Pay & Benefits:
The base salary range for this role is determined by a number of factors, including but not limited to skills and scope required, relevant licensure and certifications, and unique relevant experience and job-related skills. The base salary range for this role is $178,286-$241,393.
