The U.S. Peace Corps is seeking a Full Stack Microsoft Senior Developer to enhance, modernize, and maintain the Odyssey system. This system integrates Oracle E-Business Suite with custom Microsoft-based financial applications utilized globally across 60+ field offices and headquarters. The applications support vital financial operations, including obligations, invoicing, disbursements, cashiering, and real-time budgeting within multi-currency environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Enhance and maintain the CFO/FS custom financial applications with a focus on design, development, testing, and integration with Oracle E-Business Suite.
- Perform upgrades, migrations to cloud environments, and establish disaster recovery support and security compliance.
- Contribute to full lifecycle support by developing custom services, components, or modules using advanced programming languages and .NET technologies.
- Assess, plan, design, develop, test, configure, and deploy technical solutions that address various business challenges.
- Collaborate with Solution Architects and Senior Product Specialists to combine or extend software products to meet functional and technical specifications.
- Create and translate architectural designs into practical business solutions using proficiency in systems design, development, and process automation.
- Ensure that all work is aligned with OCFO/FS modernization goals and adheres to federal IT and financial regulations.
- Develop custom software solutions and modules in line with organizational goals.
- Analyze and create technical solutions that address specific business needs.
- Engage in the testing, configuration, deployment, and post-implementation support of various applications.
- Participate actively in system migrations and upgrades, maintaining compliance with federal regulations.
RequirementsEducation: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
Experience: A minimum of eight (8) years of relevant Microsoft .NET software development experience.
Technical Skills:
- Strong expertise in .NET applications architecture and development.
- Proficiency in SQL Server, Oracle, and Microsoft Entity Framework.
- Familiarity with domain-driven design (DDD) and front-end frameworks such as Angular or React.
- Experience with full lifecycle software support and integration with Oracle EBS.
