When you join Design Group as a Project Coordinator, you are joining a team that will challenge you and position you for growth. In this role, you will work with a team of industry experts to help the world’s leading companies solve their most difficult problems. You will join our Architecture/Engineering/Construction team and partner with seasoned leaders, technical specialists, and subject matter experts to deliver the highest quality solutions to our clients with consistency and accuracy.

What You’ll Do

Support architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) project teams in developing and delivering facilities design projects for our external clients. You will collaborate closely with Project Managers, Project Engineers, Project Team members, vendors, and other support teams, to facilitate successful project outcomes. 

  • Coordinate project workflows and support teams in meeting design deliverable deadlines and quality standards.
  • Utilize Procore (software) to streamline the project delivery process.
  • Facilitate coordination activities and communication processes for projects.  
  • Maintain document management systems to provide accurate project documentation and version control.
  • Support the technical review process for drawings, specifications, and project deliverables.
  • Coordinate bid package preparation and submission processes through Procore.
  • Process Request for Information (RFIs) and facilitation communication between project teams and stakeholders.
  • Set up project access and permissions for team members and external partners.
  • Assist with procurement coordination and vendor communication throughout the course of the project.
  • Participate in process involvement initiatives within project delivery workflows.
  • Make an impact day-to-day with your skills and expertise, strengthening that relationship with our clients and team

What You’ll Bring

  • 5+ years of administrative or project coordinator work experience supporting an architecture and engineering team - construction industry experience is a plus
  • Strong collaborative skills with the ability to work effectively in a team setting and independently
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for multi-stakeholder coordination
  • A detail-oriented approach to task execution with strong organizational skills and follow-through capabilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and expertise in web-based applications
  • Experience with Procore or other project management software (preferred)
  • Willingness to travel for project support, team collaboration sessions, and company training
  • Willingness to work "in the office" daily at our Alpharetta, GA location
  • An associate’s or bachelor’s degree in business administration, communications, construction management, or a related field (preferred)
