About the role

Overview

The Senior Program Lead, Corporate Social Responsibility, Operator Programs and Activations will oversee and manage national programs supporting Chick-fil-A Operators with community engagement. This role specifically will focus on managing, maintaining, growing, and creating leadership specific programs and partnerships in support of local Chick-fil-A Operators and how they care for the community. Additionally, this role will consult to Chick-fil-A Operators on community engagement at the local and market level and work cross functionally across the business with partners in many departments such as Marketing, People, Field Operations, Accounting, Legal, the Executive office, and more.

 

Specifically, this role will be responsible for overseeing the Chick-fil-A Leader Academy Program which currently impacts over 1100 schools, 30,000 students in over 44 states in partnership with over 500 Chick-fil-A Operators. The Senior Program lead will be managing the program with our national partner, helping to maintain brand standards as well as grow and scale the program both domestically and internationally. This role serves as a main point of contact to all participating Operators to counsel and advise on program activation and best practices as well as help promote and grow the program with Operators who don't currently participate.

 

The role will work closely with Chick-fil-A Restaurant Operators requiring a strong understanding of the day-to-day reality in the restaurant and of the Chick-fil-A business. Additionally, the role will work closely with schools, students, teachers, and local leaders, therefore having a strong ability to relate and understand the challenges and reality for local educators as well as ways to effectively support students in their leadership journey is critical.

 

The role is responsible to steward the budget for program sponsorship, activation, and execution. Responsible for reviewing all existing program aspects created by partner to ensure programs adequately represents the Chick-fil-A brand. Ensure the quality of programs stays fresh and relevant, reinventing continuously and stay on top of program relevancy. This role will lead and manage monthly partner meetings as well as serve as an ongoing lead and contact for external partner on a weekly basis. The role will require strong written and verbal communication skills, leading program communication strategies to socialize program internally as well as tell the story of impact externally. The role requires strong project management skills and an ability to track and measure data and metrics on program value from brand reputation and community impact.

 

The Senior Program Lead must have a strong sense of initiative, strong project management skills, be highly responsive and be able to skillfully handle multiple projects at once. Be collaborative and deadline driven as well as have the ability to think at a high level, looking at the big picture and scale while also being able to be in the details managing the day to day. The role requires the skillset to both innovate and create new programs and initiatives as well as maintain, enhance, and grow existing programs.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as program and partnership subject matter expert for Operator community programs within Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)
  • Serve as main point of contact for Chick-fil-A with external partner specific to community Programs.
  • Initiate and cultivate collaborative relationships with key partners inside and outside the organization
  • Have a strategic mindset and be forward thinking, comfortable creating structure and developing a plan to new programs and partnerships as well as the ability to maintain and elevate existing programs
  • Requires strong people skills balanced with a demonstrated record of accomplishing work milestones, metrics, and goals through teamwork
  • Maintain strong understanding of our Chick-fil-A Operator model and how community engagement supports the long-term health of the brand
  • Think quickly and problem solve, in sensitive situations, to provide solutions to best support our local Operators with community programs and partnerships
  • Maintain high workload capability: ability to oversee multiple programs and partnerships in tandem at various stages of development and operation
  • Ability to work with substantial scope and autonomous decision making for program operations
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, facilitation and public speaking skills, ability to lead and manage meetings with outside partners
  • Highly detail oriented and analytical
