Executive Coach/Senior Facilitator

Overview
JST is seeking an Executive Coach/Senior Facilitator assist the JST Leadership Development and training team. As an Executive Coach/Facilitator, you will develop, facilitate, and manage programs and projects that prepare federal leaders at all levels-from emerging leaders to executives-to build their leadership and management capacity, encourage innovation and improve the overall effectiveness of their agencies. This position reports to the Training Manager and a company Vice President. This position could indirectly supervise instructors, coaches, consultants, and/or administrative support staff.
This is a full-time position with ability to work remotely and requires travel (50%) to conduct many programs. JST offers a full benefit package, a collaborative work environment and strong company culture.
Executive Coach/Facilitator Responsibilities
- Assist in the design, planning and execution of federal leadership development programming, for audiences ranging from entry level to emerging leaders to senior executives
- Lead and facilitate training programs, seminars, meetings, group and individual coaching sessions, workshops and problem-solving sessions for federal employees
- Assist the Training Manager in projects and programs, including developing strategy, setting goals and objectives, establishing metrics, leading project teams, managing deliverables, and driving results through program implementation
- Create session materials, such as handouts, manuals, exercises and tools for use in leadership development training
- Build and maintain relationships with participants, government officials and other experts to ensure the successful design, implementation and continual improvement of leadership development programs
- Conduct executive coaching sessions and develop coaching plans for individual and groups
- Assist in writing business development presentations and draft proposals
- Mentor and coach company staff and adjunct faculty
- Represent the Partnership at external meetings and events
- Teach communication writing and oral presentation forums
Manager/Facilitator Qualifications
- Master's degree in a related field, or equivalent professional work or military experience
- Demonstrated training, teaching, facilitating, executive coaching, and public speaking experience
- Prior experience working collaboratively with multiple stakeholders and subject matter experts to customize program approaches and content
- Experience working in the federal environment and knowledge of federal leadership development needs strongly preferred
- Experience designing and facilitating high-quality virtual and in-person programs and/or events preferred
- Leadership development assessment and/or change management content certifications (e.g., MBTI, FIRO-B, DISC, Pearman, Workplace Big 5, CLI 360, TKI, ISI, CSI, and DSP) a plus
- International Coaching Federation (ICF) certified executive coach. (ACC or PCC level a plus)
Executive Coach/Facilitator Key Competencies
- Excellent project management skills and skilled in prioritizing, organizing, delegating and planning work to complete projects from initial conceptualization through timely delivery of high-quality deliverables
- Demonstrated training, presentation, coaching, and facilitation skills - ICF certified.
- Ability to customize the design of leadership programs and curricula to meet federal agency needs based on audience
- Proven track record of consistent, sound judgment and decision-making skills; ability to identify potential problems, analyze issues and provide proactive solutions
- Willing and able to work effectively as part of a team across the larger enterprise, sharing information and insights, collaborating to solve problems, and effectively connecting the organization's leadership programming to our broader mission
- Excellent relationship management skills, including a strong customer service background leading to collaborative internal and external partnerships
- Superior written and verbal communications skills
- Collaborative, flexible, positive team-player able to thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment and able to organize multiple and varied projects simultaneously
