The Role
The role with develop value-add engineering capabilities that help deliver customer success (example: AI enablement across the SaaS and Apps delivery function). The org has a unique proximity to the customer and often needs to develop/deploy engineering configurations that are supported by a small but impactful ‘in-house’ engineering capability. This role will deliver cutting edge, innovative solutions to our customers which make an immediate impact to our customers. 

- Vulnerability Assessment: Performing vulnerability scans and assessments to identify security weaknesses in existing systems.

- Security Design Documentation: Collaborating with the team to develop and maintain reference security documents, including requirements and implementation/procedural details.

- Compliance Reviews: Supporting compliance efforts by ensuring systems meet relevant security standards and regulations.

- Security Tool Evaluation: Evaluating new security tools and technologies to identify potential solutions for the organization.

What You’ll Bring (Objective Minimum Qualifications):

To be considered for a Security Engineer position in the Customer Success Services organization, you must possess the Objective Minimum Qualifications (OMQs) below.

Please ensure that your application clearly indicates that you meet these OMQs, by listing relevant academic/professional/personal projects on your resume. Will be enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or an equivalent science/engineering field during the 2026-2027 school year. 

  • Have completed at least your sophomore year toward your undergraduate degree, or higher, by summer 2026.  
  • Proficiency with Python and/or scripting languages
  • Familiarity with task automation
  • Knowledge of cloud security principles and technologies
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams
  • Visa sponsorship is not available for this role. For clarity purposes, this means that Oracle is not in a position now, or in the future, to offer US immigration sponsorship. This includes, but is not limited to, support of H-1B, TN, O-1, green card or F-1 e.g. EAD, OPT, CPT, I-20, F-1 visa stamp etc.

  • Minimum 3.0 GPA
  • Intern has a GitHub repository and/or actively contributes to other projects.
