WHAT YOU WILL DO:

TEAM:

  • Provide continuity and consistency of business best practices between Global Product Security teams 
  • Develop Compliance frameworks that align internal and third party compliance controls to protect the confidentiality of Facebook projects 
  • Ensure the  strategy and vision is carried out across all security domains by integrating regions and teams with processes and solutions  
  • Work closely other team verticals to ensure compliance of business protocol and practices
  • Provide organizational structure throughout the planning, execution, and maintenance phases 
  • Mitigate the potential loss of Intellectual Property & Confidential Information from leaks or theft by providing timely and accurate assessment/analysis of threats and associated risks
  • Develop and maintain standards, risk management approaches, training, and internal checks and balances
  • Project planning and execution during product development cycle
  • Represent global security in meetings with internal and external partners  

INDIVIDUAL:

  • Responsible for working with a team of Contract & Legal experts  
  • Lead Contract Framework development plan for third parties partnering with internal and Legal teams 
  • Partner regularly with legal and engineering teams to support their security contract language needs according to vendor or engagement type
  • Support Third Party Security Guidelines that provides best practices and recommendations to internal and external partners to protect Intellectual Property & Confidential information throughout product development phases (PDP) and the supply chain
  • Support process improvements, development/review of supporting documentation and compliance of all Compliance & Programs related services
  • Identify regional needs and specific requirements to implement process changes maintaining alignment with objectives
  • Create culture of confidentiality by developing and providing training to employees/partners/third parties 
  • Represent the team in cross-functional meetings to build strategic partnerships 
  • Work with internal External Security Audit (ESAM)  team and cross-functional partners to develop a third party compliance process 
  • Work with Framework development team to identify new opportunities that support contract language processes
  • Provide support to team verticals identifying process and tool solutions to streamline tasks and processes 

WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED:

  • 4-years of relevant experience or post-graduate degree preferred with 2+ years of relevant experience
  • Legal background with focus areas on vendor contract drafting, contract law and/or procurement agreements
  • Experience with Security and/or Intellectual property and Confidential Information requirements 
    Knowledge in Non-disclosure agreements (NDA) development, reinforcement and violation
  • Experience with building and maintaining relationships with external business partners 
  • Experience leading projects and/or small teams from diverse backgrounds
  • Highly motivated and able to work independently as well as in a team environment
  • Ability to focus on the bigger picture and dive deep when required 
  • Strong collaborator with proven ability to operate successfully with cross functional relationships at all levels of an organization
  • Outstanding customer service, communication, and presentation skills  
    Possesses excellent planning and organizational skills 
  • Strong background in investigations, physical security with tech integration and logistics planning
  • Customer focused and able to infuse innovation and creativity to support the business
  • Experience with project management creation and follow through
  • Demonstrates courage with difficult issues despite personal risk or discomfort 
  • Demonstrated analytical and critical thinking skills that drive results 
  • Knowledge of data collection processes & procedures 
  • Experience with vendor management processes and/or regulator
