We are seeking a highly skilled Senior QA Analyst to support the Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) platform team, with a strong focus on functional, integration, and end-to-end testing of AEM-built websites and their integrations with other platforms such as customer relationship management and student information system. This role provides hands on QA support while focusing on enhancing QA processes and will have the ability to collaborate effectively with automation engineers and leverage automated tests where available. Reporting to the Sr. Director – Analysis, Change & Quality, this role plays a critical part in ensuring high-quality, accessible, and reliable digital experiences delivered through AEM-based platforms.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Functional & Integration Testing

  • Lead and execute functional, regression, smoke, sanity, compatibility, responsive, and end-to-end testing for AEM-authored websites.

  • Validate AEM components, templates, content authoring workflows, page rendering, personalization, and digital asset management.

  • Perform testing across multiple browsers and devices, leveraging tools such as BrowserStack for cross-browser and responsive validation.

  • Test and validate integrations between AEM and Salesforce (SF) delivered via MuleSoft, ensuring accurate data exchange and system behavior.

  • Validate API responses, payload structures, error handling, data mappings, and downstream impacts as part of end-to-end scenarios.

  • Ensure seamless content and data flow across systems, channels, and environments.

  • Create and maintain test plans, test cases, execution reports, defect documentation, and risk assessments.

  • Track and report test execution metrics, defect trends, and quality insights.

  • Provide actionable recommendations to improve testing processes, quality practices, and overall platform stability.

  • Execute and analyze existing automated test suites (UI and API) developed by automation engineers.

  • Partner closely with QA Automation resources to identify automation candidates, gaps, and opportunities to improve test coverage.

  • Provide well-structured manual test cases and scenarios that can be leveraged for future automation.

  • Participate in automation-related discussions to understand framework design, coverage strategy, and execution results.

  • Use automation results to supplement manual testing and support release confidence.

Accessibility & Quality Standards

  • Validate adherence to digital accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1 AA) for AEM websites.

  • Collaborate with accessibility specialists and developers to validate remediation and prevent regressions.

  • Leverage automated accessibility testing outputs and conduct manual accessibility validation where required.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with AEM developers, content authors, UX designers, business analysts, product owners, and architects to ensure requirements are clear, testable, and met.

  • Review functional requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, integration designs, and technical documentation.

  • Provide feedback during sprint planning, backlog refinement, and design discussions from a quality and risk perspective.

  • Conduct peer reviews of test plans and test cases.

  • Provide test execution demos and walkthroughs to business stakeholders and UAT participants.

  • Participate actively in Agile ceremonies (stand-ups, sprint planning, refinement, retrospectives).

  • Communicate testing status, risks, dependencies, and quality concerns clearly to scrum teams and leadership.

  • Support release readiness, including validation of deployment activities and providing QA sign-off.

  • Lead and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), ensuring adherence to the UAT framework and strong partnership with business stakeholders.

  • Assist with production issue triage, validation of fixes, and post-release verification.
