Injection Group Leader (Manager)

Position Summary

This position is responsible for the leadership of Complex 1 and 2 Injection Molding, the Pedestal Main Line and 6 Sub-Assembly Lines. The Group Leader should ensure that all team members are properly trained to ensure achievement of Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost targets.

Role and Responsibilities

1.  Ensure staffing is in place to support the Master Production Plan (WA/WB/WP/Sub Lines) 
2.  Determine and manage strategic initiatives to drive improvement
3.  Champion Lean Manufacturing driving improvement on Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost metrics
4.  Initiate and manage cost reduction activities
5.  Foster behavioral-based work environment

Skills and Qualifications

1. Education: Minimum: Bachelor's Degree in a technical discipline, such as engineering, material sciences, chemistry, or related field
2. Experience: Minimum 10 years of industrial manufacturing experience with at least 5 years of people management experience
3. Knowledge: Demonstrated expertise with manufacturing management and a strong understanding of material flow. 
4. Skills: Excellent communication, competent Microsoft office, Project Management, Problem & Solving Skills, Excellent time management, Effective collaboration skills, High attention to details. 
Technical skills: Experienced with managing assembly, logistics and molding processes.
5. Domestic role. Some direct interaction with HQ or region.
