Overall Purpose: Translate business problems into actionable insights through a comprehensive workflow involving coding, data extraction, cleansing, feature engineering, exploratory data analysis, model creation and tuning, visualization, and deployment, leveraging statistical analysis, machine learning, and big data technologies to drive informed decision-making and innovation.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
• Data Extraction and Preparation: Collect data from various structured and unstructured sources (datalakes, databases, data warehouses, on cloud, internal, external) and ensure its quality for analysis through cleaning and preprocessing.
• Modeling and Insights generation:
- Synthesize learnings from large datasets and advanced statistical models
- Develop and implement advanced Bayesian statistical models to address complex data analysis challenges.
- Design and implement custom Bayesian models using probabilistic programming languages (e.g., Stan, PyMC3).
- Conduct Bayesian inference to estimate model parameters and quantify uncertainty.
- Analyze model fit and perform model selection using appropriate Bayesian diagnostics.
- Evaluate model performance and interpret results in the context of the business domain
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Bayesian analysis into decision-making processes
- Develop machine learning models and AI solutions
- Test, deploy, and maintain AI systems
- Collaborate with data scientists and other engineers to integrate AI into broader system architectures
- Stay current with AI trends and suggest improvements to existing systems and workflows.
• Communication:
- Clear ability to communicate complex statistical concepts and findings to both technical and non-technical audiences
Requirements and skills
- Degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Experience with data processing and visualization tools such as SQL, Palantir, Python, Tableau, PowerBI, Snowflake would be highly helpful
- Experience with machine learning, deep learning, NLP, and computer vision
- Proficiency in Python, Java, and R
- Strong knowledge of AI frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a team environment

Work Schedule: This position requires office presence of a minimum of 5 days per week and is only located in the location(s) posted. No relocation is offered
Work Location: Dallas, TX
Education/Experience: Master's degree (MS/MA) required from an accredited University in a Quantitative field of study such as Data Science, Math, Statistics, Engineering or Physics. 7+ years of related experience. Certification is required in some areas.
